Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida Announces Honorary Chairs for The Big Event 2021 on May 1

PANAMA CITY, FLA. – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida (BBBSNWFL) is proud to announce that Eric and Tricia Berry will serve as the honorary chairs for The Big Event 2021 Presented by Bill Cramer Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC on May 1, 2021 at the BARN at Wicked Wheel.

Formally known as Corks N’ Canvases, The Big Event will continue the tradition of bringing the Bay County community together to celebrate and support a worthy cause. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Northwest Florida has been faced with difficult challenges, but BBBSNWFL is looking forward to coming together and putting our focus on who needs our support: our local children.

“We are absolutely honored to be asked to be the Honorary Chairs for this year‘s Big Event! The cornerstone of Big Brothers Big Sisters vision is something that our family strongly agrees to be effective,” says Eric and Tricia Berry. In addition to BBBSNWFL, Eric and Tricia are supporters of numerous non-profit organizations in Northwest Florida including Boys & Girls Club of Bay County, Junior League of Panama City, and the Children’s Advocacy Center.

“We are so excited to move forward with the celebration of our mission with The Big Event during this most challenging time,” says Paula Shell, president & CEO of BBBSNWFL. “Providing an in-person and virtual option is important to us as we plan, and we are eager to share the work we have been doing to impact change in the community. The Berry’s are so passionate about the children of Bay County and we are blessed to have them as our honorary chairs.”

The Big Event 2021 will be held at The BARN at the Wicked Wheel in Panama City Beach. Guests can expect many of the same elements as Corks ‘N Canvases including; a live and silent auction, chances to win, food and beverage tastings, live entertainment by Christon Birge and Katie Spillman, and more!

To ensure the health and safety of all supporters, COVID-19 precautions will be in place throughout the event. Individual in-person tickets will be limited. The event will also be live-streamed for guests who do not feel comfortable attending and would still like to support the event.
