Our partners make it possible
Jack in the Box believes that mentoring can change a child's life. That's why The Jack in the Box Foundation proudly partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters to serve youth in communities that Jack in the Box restaurants serve.
On national and local levels, The Jack in the Box Foundation sponsors a myriad of efforts for Big Brothers Big Sisters, including a School-Based Mentoring program that matches high school student Bigs with elementary school student Littles, “First Meal” program, which treats newly-matched Bigs and Littles to a meal at Jack in the Box, and the Military Mentoring Program which matches mentors from the military with children whose parents are deployed oversees
In 2010, The Jack in the Box Foundation pledged an additional $1 million over three years to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Military Mentoring efforts.
Jack in the Box also encourages volunteerism among employees, many of whom are Bigs or serve on local Big Brothers Big Sisters’ boards.
"We believe that our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters is changing children's lives and creating a brighter future for all of us."
A national Big Brothers Big Sisters sponsor since 1998, The Jack in the Box Foundation has provided more than $4 million to the national office and local Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies through corporate, employee and franchisee donations, fundraising events and services. Based in San Diego, Jack in the Box operates or franchises more than 2,000 quick-serve restaurants in 17 states.
