Corporate Honor Roll
Mentoring Makes Good Business Sense!
Not only is teaming up with Big Brothers Big Sisters to make a measurable, long-lasting impact on children a good idea, but it is also a very smart business decision, as well!
It is one that can have a tangible, positive impact on your company.
You'll get a stronger community.
Less drugs and alcohol abuse. Better school performance. Stronger
families. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring has a powerful,
measurable, ongoing local impact. Partners with us ensures a more
educated workforce, more successful customer base and the long-term
economics viability of our community.
You'll increase employee engagement and performance.
Research shows employees - even those that don't volunteer - feel
greater pride and loyalty toward an employer that supports a respected
cause like Big Brothers Big Sisters and encourages workers to get
involved. Those tat do volunteer return to work with renewed
enthusiasm. And because Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring relies on
team-building, volunteers often tell us the experience has strengthened
their relationships with co-workers and increased their commitment to
the company.
You'll get a stronger public image.
We're a widely recognized and well-respected cause. Nationally, more
than 80% of the public recognizes the Big Brothers Big Sisters brand.
As a result, your company will develop a more favorable image within your community.
You'll get a partner that fits well.
Being a "Big" is something just about any employee can do. Our programs
are specifically designed for busy people, and we offer volunteer
options that match your employees' interest - no matter what their age.
Big Brothers Big Sisters span all age groups. Plus, it's fun!
Volunteers constantly say they get back more than they give.
You'll get valued recognition.
To recognize businesses in the community that are leading by example to
make a difference in the life of a child, Big Brothers Big Sisters of
